This is the community discussion area for the AIBI.
AIBI-International is an online bible college training people in church planting and missional church issues as well as basic Christian discipleship and New Testament Christianity.
You need to be a bible-believing, born-again Christian. Most of the material is from an evangelical/charismatic theological perspective.
These courses are meant to be taken in a local church or small group setting under the supervision of a pastor or other mature Christian leader.
You can apply online and register your church, small group, prison fellowship, bible college etc. as an AIBI extension campus. This requires a $75 processing fee which covers the time our staff spend helping you set up your extension campus.
You can also get a CD with all the course material on it for $49.95. Thus the total cost of setting up your own church-based bible college is only $124.95!!
We do not enrol individual students or mark papers of individual students, as all student marking and enrollment is done in the church-based bible colleges.
However individual students are still welcome to study informally online, and use the resources and ebooks and participate in the forums.
There are four areas at left:
- Church-Based Bible Colleges - this area is for discussion among pastors wishing to start an AIBI bible college in their local church with the help of an AIBI course co-ordinator.
- The Harvestime courses
are in bible-college-in-a-box format and have everything you need.We
have church-planting courses in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai,
Russian and Tagalog.
- The Certificate courses (see below) are online and on CD the ebooks can be readily downloaded from this site (see below)
- Your church can register as an AIBI bible college, download the
curriculum (or get it sent on CD for $49.95) and then mark the tests and
issue AIBI certificates & diplomas to those who pass.
- General Christian Discussion: For those who wish to discuss some of the "big issues' in church life and practice today but who do not want to enrol in any particular course. Vigorous discussion is allowed however all discussion must be in a spirit of Christian love.
- Certificate Courses: Each certificate course contains six subjects which must be completed succesfully in order to attain the certificate.
- The courses are meant to be studied in a small group setting in a local church under the supervision of a pastor or other mature Christian.
- You can participate in online forums as well (see at left) which will give you a broader perspective.
- When you complete all six subjects you will be issued a Certificate of Completion from the AIBI.
- Most subjects require a 3 page (1500 word) essay as assessment.

- Complete three entire certificates (18 subjects) and you will be eligible to receive an AIBI Diploma of Christian Ministry
- Diploma: Harvestime Church-Planting Modules:
- 21 modules on various aspects of Christian ministry and especially on evangelism and church-planting.
- 17 modules have to be completed for the Diploma. This takes about eighteen months to two years.
- Modules are from the Harvestime Institute and are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Tagalog, Thai and Russian.
- You may discuss the modules with fellow students in the online forums but all formal assessment is done in the local church bible colleges.
